Peshawar: Some unidentified men on Monday night hurled a hand grenade on the house of former Senator Nasir Khan Afridi but no causality was reported in the incident.
According to police, a hand grenade exploded outside the house of the former senator in Hayatabad area of the city, causing damage to the outer wall and windowpanes of the house.
The former Senator belongs to Khyber Agency and is contesting upcoming polls from NA-46 Peshawar.
Meanwhile, the police and security forces have cordoned off the house and started search for the culprits.
