QUETTA: Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Syed Munawar Hassan has said that his party’s talks are being continued with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) for seat to seat adjustment.
JI, the country’s leading Islamist political party, will contest the upcoming general election on ‘scale’ symbol.
Speaking to media in Quetta on Sunday, Hassan said that the previous government of the Pakistan People’s Party had given the masses nothing but corruption.
The JI Amir said that that all the political parties should nominate those candidates who fulfill the criteria of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
To a query, he said that the participation of nationalist parties in the election is appreciable.
“Returning Officers are quizzing unnecessary question,” Hassan replied to a query about question of the RO to electoral candidates during scrutiny.
