Pakistan Defeats India in Professional Snooker Qualifying Tournament

Lahore: Pakistan defeated India in the professional snooker qualifying tournament.

In the Q-School Asia Oceania Tournament, Hamza Akbar defeated Laxman Rawat 4-2, while Hamza Akbar also played a break of 113 against the Indian cueist in the final frame which has become the highest break so far.

Hamza Akbar will face Thailand’s Passakorn Suwannawat in the second round.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Haris Tahir also won the first match of the tournament, defeating China’s Dong Zihao 4-1.

It is noteworthy that every year, 12 players from the Q School Tournament qualify for professional.
