ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Sunday said that those found to have deceived would be declared disqualified even after winning the election.
Afzal Khan, the ECP additional secretary, speaking to media in Islamabad said that the scrutiny process of nomination papers would remain continue even after the election.
He said the Commission has ordered for the restoration of the services of Secretary Information Technology Dr. Zafar Qadir till tomorrow. He said Zafar Qadir has been working on real time monitoring and in this connection he had arranged a plan.
“We have acquired the services of FBR officer Junaid Ikram to help in evaluation of the financial and tax returns the candidates,” Khan said and added that those found to have deceived would be declared disqualified.
Moreover, the ECP said that scrutiny of all 24,094 candidates had been completed.
