A positive news comes right from the mountainous area of South Waziristan, where Tehrik Taliban Pakistan, Mullah Nazir faction, assures political representatives that it will not interfere in polling process.
The assurance came during a joint meet up of the outfit leaders, 50 plus political representatives and Tribal elders in NA-41 constituency of South Waziristan, reports Express Tribune in one of its recent post.
TTP (Nazir Group) head Salahuddin Ayubi alias Bahawal Khan assured no interruption in upcoming general elections.
One of the participants told Express Tribune that Bahawal Khan was of the view that every tribal man would be free to cast vote.
However, the consensus reached after agreeing some terms and conditions, which are as follow:
1. All electoral rallies and processions will be held in open ground
2. Candidates who are not popular will withdraw voluntarily
3. No contestant will criticize his opponent during speeches
