ISLAMABAD: Though election exercise is itself a difficult task for the candidate, but this time the electoral candidates facing a new challenge of degree verification.
Following the order the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the country’s election commission has issued notices to 24 former parliamentarians for April five over the fake degrees.
Shafiq Ahmed Gujar, Rubina Irfan, Ghulam Sarver Sayal, Israrullah Zehri, Samina Khawar Hayat, Semal Kamran, Shumaila Rana, Dr Israr Hussain, Samina Khan, Nadir Magsi were among the 27 other cleared by the commission earlier.
However, the commission has against summoned 24 out of 27 former parliamentarians in the fake degree cases.
It to mention here that three remaining ex-parliamentarians including Wali Muhammad Badini, Gulistan Khan and Molvi Ubaidullah have been passed away.
Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, the chief election commissioner, will hear the case on April 5.
