KARACHI: Like previous years, this year too Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases (OICD), a constituent institute of Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) to commemorate World TB Day 2013 is organizing a TB Walk followed by an Awareness Seminar on 3rd April 2013 at OICD, Dow University Ojha Campus. The theme of this year is “Stop TB in My Life time”.
The aim of TB walk and Awareness Seminar is to create awareness among the people about the prevention and cure of Tuberculosis TB. Eminent personalities form different segments of society, NGO’s representatives, ulemas, doctors and paramedical staff will be participating in the Walk.
The walk will start from Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases (OICD) and will culminate at Dow International Medical College (DIMC). The Speakers of the Seminar will be Prof. Dr. Masood Hameed Khan,Prof.Dr. Muhammad Masroor, Dr. Ismat Ara, Behroz Sabzwari. Dr. Iqbal Pir Zada will conduct all the activities of the World TB Day.
