KARACHI: A local leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) was killed and several others injured in a hand grenade attack on a private school in Baldia town area of Karachi on Saturday.
Police said Rasheed, the ANP leader, owned the school and was the target of the attack.
Most of the injured were students of the school, located in the Ittehad Town of the area.
Three of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
According to police, Rasheed had been receiving threats from from banned organisations.
