LAHORE: The matter of the selection of caretaker chief minister of Punjab has been sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan as a meeting of the parliamentary committee over the issue has been failed.
A six-member committee met on Tuesday morning to select the caretaker CM.
While talking to media after the meeting, the members said that they had decided to send the matter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
They said that both the parties would accept the decision of the ECP.
Rana Sanaullah, the member of PML-N, said that there was no deadlock and they had chosen a Constitutional way to resolve the issue.
