ISLAMABAD: The Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) Pakistan has threatened to assassinate former president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf on his return to the country after four years in self-imposed exile.
According to a report published in Dawn.com, TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan said the organisation has already assigned the task to suicide bombers.
Chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Musharraf announced to return Pakistan on Sunday (tomorrow) from Dubai to contest the coming elections in the country.
A military dictator Musharraf remains a controversial figure in Pakistan for joining US war on terror after 9/11 attacks as militancy in the country skyrocketed following the decision.
