KARACHI: Justice (retd) Zahid Qurban Alvi took oath as Sindh caretaker chief minister here on Thursday.
Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad administered the oath to Zahid Qurban Alvi.
The oath taking ceremony was scheduled to take place in 12pm but it faced 60 minutes delay due to the later arrival of the caretaker CM and Qaim Ali Shah, the former chief minister.
Earlier on Wednesday, the governor also approved the summary sent by chief minister, setting May 11 as election date.
