Islamabad: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday signed a summery sent by the country Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashrat to hold general election on May 11, Spokesman of President House said.
Pakistan’s National Assembly was dissolved on March 16 after completing its constitutional tenure of five year.
Farhatullah Babar, the spokesman said that the general elections in the country would be held on Saturday May 11. “The summery was forwarded by the prime minister,” Babar added.
Meanwhile, Sindh governor has also approved the summery sent by Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to hold the elections on May 11.
