NAIROBI: There is a unique hotel named Giraffe Manor in Nairobi city of Kenya where guests are provided a chance to spent time with Rothschild’s giraffes.
The Giraffe Manor is situated about 20 kilometers from Nairobi covering 12 acres within 140 acres of indigenous forest with a view of Ngong hills.
The manor is built in the manner that allows giraffes to enter their long necks through widely opened large windows to reach dining tables, the front door and even your bedroom window and enjoy having several tasty foods with you.
Moreover, Giraffe Manor is not only the home to a herd of Rothschild’s giraffe but also the residence of warthogs, bushbuck, dik dik and more than 180 species of birds.
The famous manor is opened for the tourists throughout the year except April and May.
Rates for 2013 start from US$485 an adult a night and US$325 a child. The prices include airport transfers, transportation around the area, meals and drinks.
