Karachi: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khurshid Shah Sunday said that general elections will be conducted by May 9 and its schedule will be announced within the next 3 to 4 days.
Talking to media representatives at the residence of former provincial minister of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Maqbool Shaikh, Shah said that the political scenario never remains stagnant and no one could be called a final friend or foe.
He said Pakistan People’s Party-led government has completed its five-year tenure and that it was up to the people to elect their next rulers in the upcoming polls.
