Dera Ghazi Khan: In what appears to be an heinous crime, a mother of three was sold-out after local jirga in Dera Ghazi Khan city of Punjab declared her Kari.
According to The News Tribe Urdu, Mohammad Ali, the brother of the victim, told reporters that his brother in law Imam Bukhsh Jandani along with other relatives alleged his (Ali) sister of having illegal relation and declared her Kari and sold-out through jirga.
Ali, the resident of Chat Dagar area in jurisdiction of Choti police station, further alleged police of not arresting accused despite the local court’s order.
Large number of Zarina Mai’s, the victim, relatives and her three children staged protest outside the RPO office and demanded for the recovery of the victim and suspension of policemen.
