Karachi: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered Inter Services Intelligence and Military Intelligence to submit report of bombing in Abbas Town area of the country’s largest city Karachi.
During the hearing of suo motu over the blast at Karachi registry, the SC also issued notices to defence and interior ministries.
The larger bench, headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, expressed reservations over the report presented by the Sindh government and ordered it to resubmit report within three days.
The apex court also ordered investigation into the killing of 14 people in the city yesterday.
The court remarked that the provincial government has failed to protect its citizens, ordering it to set up an investigation team comprising of eligible and honest officials.
