Islamabad: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday claimed to have arrested four alleged terrorists involved in Karachi’s Abbas Town blast.
A powerful bomb in the town, mainly populated with Shi’tes area, killed around 48 person and injured over 140 others.
“We have arrested four suspects of the blast including three members of Lashakr-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and one member of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP),” the minister said.
He added that the LeJ played main role the bombing which destroyed dozens apartments on Sunday evening.
Malik said that the terrorists used Suzuki High-roof when the security agencies foiled their attempt to use truck in the blast.
