Peshawar: The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Sunday disassociated themselves from the blasts in Abbas Town area of Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan that killed 45 people.
Speaking to media from an undisclosed location, TTP spokesperson Ihsanullah Ihsan said that his group was not involved in the atrocity.
Although he did not condemn the attack, he categorically stated that the TTP was not responsible.
It is to be mentioned here that early blasts in Alamdar road and Kirani road area of Quetta that killed more than 200 people were also not claimed by the TTP.
Instead the blasts were claimed by a sectarian outfit, Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, saying that they would carry out more attacks on Shiites in other parts of the country.
