Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Newaz (PML-N) Lawmaker and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday confirmed that he has received a letter sent by the prime minister for consultation over caretaking setup before the elections.
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad before the beginning of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) All Parties Conference (APC), Nisar said that he would reply to the letter after consulting with his party leadership.
Reply to a query, he said that the names for the interim setup would be sent within two or three days to the PM.
Earlier on Wednesday, the PM sent a letter to the opposition leader requesting him to send names for the caretaker setup under Article 224 of the Constitution.
