Sony is planning to introduce a PlayStation app for its recently launched PlayStation 4 (PS4) that could be integrated with mobile devices like iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S, iPads and Samsung’s Galaxy S4 or Android phones.
According Sony Rumours, “a new application from SCE called ‘PlayStation App’ will enable iPhone-, iPad-, and Android-based smartphones and tablets to become second screens.”
The move seems to be a smart move to get the largest platform for mobile devices, which is iOS.
“Once installed on these devices, users can, for example, see maps on their second screens when playing an adventure game, purchase PS4 games while away from home and download it directly to the console at home, or remotely watch other gamers playing on their devices,” Play Station further said.
Though the post has not mentioned any Android device, but how could we neglect the biggest Android device of 2013, Samsung Galaxy S4, which will be releasing on March 14. Isn’t it a great idea to play exciting games of PS4 on your smartphone?
