Karachi: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that world knows that who provides security of banned outfit’s leader Malik Ishaq.
Talking to media in Karachi on Monday, Malik said that a strong action against Lashkar-e-Jhangvi was necessary, adding that the Supreme Court should summon the leadership of the banned outfit.
The interior minister said that no one would be allowed to go against the national interest. He added that the security had been increased on the borders to stop smuggling.
He said that he had good relationship with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leadership, adding that Altaf Hussain had always supported him whenever he sought help.
He said that Dr Ishratul Ebad was still a governor of the Sindh province.
To a query regarding Manzar Imam’s picture in Indian media, Malik said that India should apologise over showing Manzar Imam, the slain MQM leader, as person behind Hyderabad blast.
