Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday approved amendments in the nomination papers for the candidates willing to take part in the next elections of the country.
According to sources, the nomination papers will comprise of six pages and the candidates had to provide details of their assets, taxes and utility bills.
The details would be scrutinized by the ECP authorities with the cooperation of Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The ECP also decided that the next elections would be held on new voting lists and the lists of 2002 and 2008 would be terminated.
