Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Saturday returned the reply of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari in contempt of court case, raising objections on the content of the letter.
According to SC registrar, the contents of the Chairman NAB’s statement were not related to the contempt case adding that he used offensive language against the court in the letter.
Earlier, the NAB Chairman submitted a three page reply in the apex court in contempt case, terming the bench hearing his case as ‘biased’.
Bokhari further demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to quit the bench as his presence would raise questions on the proceedings of the court.
