Islamabad: A high level meeting of PPP-led coalition parties chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari concluded here at the President House, Islamabad, late on Tuesday night.
According to well informed sources, a committee led by Law Minister Farooq. H. Naek has been formed to compile its report on dissolution date of the assemblies and the final names of interim Prime Minister.
The committee would also consist of members from other coalition partners, they said.
The meeting also decided that the premier Raja Pervez Ashraf would consult Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif over the dissolution of assemblies and new interim PM.
Meanwhile, the meeting also decided that no new reforms would be made in Election Commission of Pakistan as demanded by different parties including Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) leader Dr. Tahirul Qadri.
The participants of meeting include Raza Haroon and Nasreen Jalil from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Mushahid Hussain Syed from Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Haji Adeel and Afrasiyab Khattak from Awami National Party (ANP) and Munir Orakzai and Hamid ullah Jan from Federally administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
