Karachi: Doctors condemned targeted killing of doctors and demanded the government to pay 20 million to the families of the deceaseds.
A general body meeting of different doctors’ associations and paramedical associations was held on Saturday in Sindh government hospital in which all associations expressed grief over targeted killing of Dr Hasan Alam.
Representatives of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Medical Aid Committee (MAC), Sindh Doctors’ Welfare Association (SDWA), Sindh Doctors’ Alliance (SDA), Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) Karachi and Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) participated in the meeting.
They demanded the government to ensure security of doctors, 20 million compensation for the families of the deceaseds and government job for any family member of the deceaseds.
