Islamabad: Pakistan Defence Minister Syed Naveed Qamar has said that the country is ready to compete with India under any circumstances but they want to reduce tension with the South Asian nation.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Thursday, Qamar said that they had no tension if the relations with India reached at their worst. “Pakistan is ready to compete with India in any situation.”
The minister further said that they did not want tension with India, adding that the country wanted to resolve all the conflicts with the neigbouring country. “We are also asking India to take steps to decrease tension…we want to increase trade with India.”
He said that Pakistan was facing internal threats and their forces and the people gave huge sacrifices in war against terror.
