Islamabad: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik claimed on Sunday that except Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta, the three provincial capitals of Pakistan, there is no violence in other parts of the country.
Talking to media representatives, the interior minister said that his government will leave behind the atmosphere of peace and harmony in the country.
The incident of Kamran Faisal has jolted the nation and we are with the family of the deceased NAB officer at the time of grief and sorrow, he said adding a commission was formed in order to remove suspicions from the case.
He further added that two police officials would also help judicial commission probing the mysterious suicide.
Mr. Malik further said that the targeted murder of MQM’s Sindh Assembly MPA Manzar Imam was a big incident but the party showed restraint and remained peaceful.
“Contact between MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and ANP head Asfandyar Wali was a positive step forward in making an alliance against the terror elements across the country,” he said.
