Karachi: The father of slain Shahzaib Khan, Aurangzeb Khan, has been appointed as the Incharge of Driving License branch in Clifton, a posh area of Pakistan’s businesses hub Karachi, here on Monday, confirming the rumours of deal between Shahruk Jatoi’s father and him.
Shahrukh allegedly killed Shahzeb over a petty issue on December 25 in Karachi’s posh Defence area. The accused, who escaped from Pakistan, was brought back in the country on January 17.
The surrender of Jatoi, who belongs to powerful background, at Pakistan’s embassy in Dubai, created rumours that a deal between the two families were struck and the case would be withdrawn after forgiving the prime suspect.
Another suspect Siraj Talpur was also arrested during a police raid in Karachi.
The police officials confirmed the report and said that Aurangzeb Khan, who was earlier serving at a complaint centre in Chief Minister House, Sindh was given the charge of License branch in Clifton.
Responding on the issue, the wife of the police officer denied any relation between the appointment and reports of deal and said that it was not possible to join hands with the murderers of her son.
“We want justice and we will take it till end,” he said.
