Peshawar: Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that he would not participate in the Awami National Party’s (ANP) all parties conference.
Talking to media after a condolence reference over the death of Qazi Hussain Ahmed on Sunday, the JUI-F chief alleged that those who demanded the resignation of President Asif Ali Zardari had already reached an agreement with him (Zardari).
“The current assembly would choose a new president for next five year if Zardari resigns,” he said.
He said that the ANP wanted to include others into his sin, adding that he would not participate in the ANP’s all parties conference.
He said that unrest was on its peak in the country as well as in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. “Women and children are being killed after attacking houses.”
He criticised the government decision of imposing governor rule in Balochistan and said that the same situation was being faced in the KPK but nobody dismissed the provincial government.
