Islamabad: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Admiral (R) Fasih Bokhari has resigned from his post, BBC Urdu reports.
Bokhari’s resign came at the time when the country’s apex court ordered the arrest of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf in a corruption case and directed the chairman (Bukhari) to arrest all the sixteen accused within 24-hour.
BBC claims that Bokhari has confirmed that he has resigned.
He said that he had left the charge of his post and details of his resignation would come on surface within two or three days.
Meanwhile, Pakistan leading news channel Geo News says Bokhari while talking to senior journalist Kamran Khan denied the BBC’s report and said that he has not resigned from his post.
