Mastung: At least 19 people were killed and 23 others including four women injured in an explosion near the two buses in Mastung area of Balochistan province on Sunday morning.
The remotely-triggered bomb hit a convoy of three buses in Mastung district, some 30 kilometres (18 miles) south of Quetta in Baluchistan province.
Sources said that both the buses carrying pilgrims were on way to Iran from Quetta, adding that one of the buses was completely destroyed, while the other one damaged partially.
Mastung Deputy Commissioner Tufail Baloch confirmed the incident and said that 19 people were killed and 23 others injured. He added that investigation were being carried out into the incident.
The owner of the buses said that three buses were on a way to Iran, adding that 43 passengers were on board in the bus. He said that two out of three buses damaged in the incident.
