Karachi: Pakistan’s health department has announced to launch anti-measles campaign in seven districts of Sindh from Saturday (today).
The campaign against measles would be being initiated from Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Kambar, Nawabshah, Shikarpur and Ghotki districts.
Provincial Health Minister Dr. Sagheer Ahmed has announced that government had organised 20 anti-measles camps to provide vaccination facilities in all affected area.
Federal health sources claimed that 58 children fell prey to the measles during last week. A total of 1235 people were affected from the disease in the province.
 Health Secretary Sindh Aftab Ahmed Khatri said that almost 56 causalities were reported during the wave of measles in the province.
