Peshawar: Taliban militants on Thursday attacked three check-posts in Frontier Region Peshawar, an administrative unit in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan, killing 2 Levis personnel and injuring others.
According to sources in political administration, at least 22 Levis personnel were missing after the attack. Two camps were also destroyed in the attack, they said.
Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility of the attack.
Political administration has summoned an urgent meeting of tribal elders from Jana Kora and Hassan Khel tribes on Friday (tomorrow).
