Kashmore: At least one more child died of measles in Tangwani Tehsil of Kashmore district of Pakistan’s Sindh province on Thursday as toll rises to 76.
Sources said that the death was reported in Goth Maronandvani of the Tehsil.
The provincial health ministry has confirmed the death of 76 children due to the measles outbreak in the region included Sukkur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kashmore.
The health experts have termed the deaths as failure of the provincial government and health department.
Meanwhile, the Federal Minister Inter-Provincial Coordination, Mir Hazar Khan Bajarani, taking notice of the deaths, had ordered the Kashmore’s EDO Health to provide vaccination to the children of the district on emergency basis.
