Islamabad: The Public Accounts Committee of Pakistan Cabinet has annulled the scheme introduced by former President of Pakistan General (retd) Pervez Musharraf of allotting plots to the members of the body.
The decision was taken at a meeting of PAC on Wednesday headed by Nadeem Afzal Chan at the federal capital.
The committee said that allotment of two plots to each member of the body is against Article 25 of the constitution. It also stressed that the housing ministry must develop a database of all the plots allotted to bureaucrats and other officials.
