Karachi: The police officials on Wednesday claimed that they had killed two terrorists including a foreigner in an encounter carried out in Afghan Basti area of the city but later it was revealed that the whole process was based on forged facts and both of them were innocent.
According to residents of the area, the police on Tuesday night carried out a search operation in Afghan Basti area of the city and arrested two people named Agha Mohammad and Abdul Sattar.
Later, the police claimed that they had killed two terrorists in an encounter and recovered arms from them.
The residents said that Abdul Sattar ran a business in Tariq road area of the city while Agha Mohammad, who was residing with Sattar, came from Chakwal for his mother’s medical treatment.
