New Delhi: The second Twenty20 match between India and Pakistan has been put off by a day after Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Zaka Ashraf requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as December 27 is the death anniversary of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
The match will now be played at Ahmedabad on December 28.
The tour begins with the opening T20 at Bangalore on December 25. The three ODIs will be held in Chennai on December 30, Kolkata on January 3 and New Delhi on January 6.
The last bilateral series between the two countries took place in November 2007 when Pakistan toured India.
