Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister of Pakistan, Hafeez Shaikh has said that United States has promised to provide 600 million dollars under the coalition support fund.
Coordinator for non-military alliance to Pakistan, Robin Raphel told the minister that 80 million dollars will be provided to small industries. Moreover, the US will aid initial work of Diamer Bhasha Dam with 200 million dollars.
Pakistan relies heavily on US aid despite calls from the concerned circles to take steps towards dependence on indigenous resources.
