Ankara: The presidential-level summit held in Ankara between Pakistan, Turkey and Afghanistan also brought good news for the business sector on Tuesday.
The foreign ministers inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for mutual trade to ensure a boost to the investment and business opportunities in these countries.
The agreement is for the establishment of Trilateral Trade Council for promotion of foreign investment, commercial ties and cooperation in the services sector. It will also help convey and exchange legislation on trade and economy.
The accord will also be beneficial in holding trade exhibitions and similar events to lure businessmen. The meeting of the council would be held on annual basis or whenever the members desire.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Afghan President Hamid Karzai attended the summit in the Turkish capital.
