Islamabad: UN agency for children development UNICEF announced that 100,000 students across Pakistan will create and raise awareness about Polio among school students.
According to TheNewsTribe’s correspondent from Pakistan’s capital city Islamabad “these students belongs to 5,000 different schools across the country”.
Pakistan is one of top risks countries which is struggling to eradicate Polio but fails due to political, law and order situations and corruption.
“Now school students have grown out of a strong desire to eradicate #polio from #Pakistan & ensure that every child is safe from polio” said UNICEF Pakistan on Thursday.
Federal administered tribal area (FATA), Pakistan’s biggest province Balochistan and southern province Sindh among the most effected areas in the country.
