Islamabad: Tussle between two high-ups of the government left Chinese delegation waiting to sign the all important aid agreement for Pakistan.
Minister for Communications, Arbab Alamgir Khan and Chairman National Highway Authority, Javed Iqbal got engaged in an argument on the sacking of two government officials on alleged corruption, sources said.
Chinese envoy and CEOs had to wait for long enough before Javed Iqbal finally turned up and signed the agreement.
The agreement of almost two million dollars aid was of immense importance for Pakistan. The aid was promised by the Chinese premier in 2002.
