Karachi: Sindh government on Sunday announced to lift ban from pillion riding in Karachi and Hyderabad, two metropolitans of Pakistan’s Sindh province.
In a handout issued on Sunday, the Sindh Home Ministry announced to lift ban from pillion riding in two main cities of the province while the ban would remain enforced in Khairpur district of the Sindh province till Muharram 13.
It is to be mentioned here that pillion riding was banned in Karachi from Muharram 8 and in Hyderabad from Muharram 1 amid concerns that the militants might target .
