Lahore: A judicial magistrate on Tuesday indicted Ali Imran Yousaf, the son-in-law of Pubjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, and eight others in a bakery torture case.
The magistrate has directed all 10 witnesses in the case to appear before it on November 30.
Defence-B police had registered the case against Yousaf and his seven security guards after a CCTV footage of the incident was aired by some television channels.
In the footage, Mr Yousaf’s guards were seen thrashing an employee of a bakery in Defence area. The victim, Irfan, had reportedly refused to deliver a cake to a woman customer, stated to be Mr Yousaf’s wife.
The main accused had courted arrest after chief minister directed him to join police investigation.
All the accused were already released on bail.
