Singapore: Pakistan State Oil, the premium oil company of Pakistan, is in its readiness to buy 55,000 tons of low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) in December after availing better opportunity to get the said cargoes.
According to sources, the oil company will get its required cargo from Galana Petroleum between December1-5 at Karachi port at a premium of up-to $97.00, a ton above the previous quote. The tender, for delivery over the time of Dec-Feb, had been issued for two cargoes; one firm and the other optional.
Earlier, PSO didn’t award the cargo as it didn’t receive adequate offers against its tender. The premium oil company would issue another tender to buy fuel oil.
