Islamabad: The activists of ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had a brawl with the police on Tuesday outside the President house here in the Federal Capital.
According to police officials, the political activists tried to enter the President house without any permit paper. “The police personnel warned them to step away but they refused to step down which resulted in the clash.”
The PPP activists were of the view that they wanted to attend an event being held inside the President house but police behaved roughly with them.
However, the police insisted that the premises of President House come under the red zone area and they could not allow anyone to gather around it for long.
The police resorted to baton charge and dispersed the activists. The situation is under control now.
