Quetta: At least two people were killed and 11 others injured in a blast at airport road in Quetta city of Pakistan’s south western province of Balochistan on Tuesday.
Sources said that the blast targeting the Frontier Constabulary (FC) vehicle occurred near Aslmo Chowk at the road.
“Around 10 vehicles and shops were also damage in the blast,” the sources said.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to nearby hospital.
Initial reports say that two FC personnel are also among the injured.
The security forces cordoned off the area while the investigation are being carried out. The sources said that the blast was remote-controlled.
