Women issues related website, Woman Tribe claimed in its report that “Graph of corruption in district Government Lahore is on the decline after placement of women field officers at different positions.”
Administrative source of district government says that these seats are considered to be the most difficult job places in government hierarchy.
Additional district collector Musarat Jabeen, District Officer Shahzadi Waseem Omar, Assistant Commissioner City Saira Omar, Asst Comm Model Town Amna Muneer, Asst Comm Raiwing Nadia Saqib, Sub Registrar Shalimar Town Tahira Ikram, District officer special planning Laila Naqvi, District Officer Architect II Shagufta Salamat, Deputy District Officer Tax recovery Madam Fatima, Deputy District Officer HRM Rahat Jabeen, Deputy district officer Planning Madam Irum and Madam Sumera among those who deliver extra ordinary results while doing their routine tasks.
Although contacting to these female officers is quite difficult task for any one who want to get first hand information as they don’t answer any query on the phone, but local people think that “this is not bad habit while corruption is declining in city government services.”
