Jamshoro: Controller Examinations (Annual) Dr Naeem Tariq Narejo refuted news reports claiming that the examination centre for B.SC and B.A students was not established in Bhit Shah and the student would have to travel to Hala for the exams.
The news item published in daily newspapers stated that over 160 male and female students of B.Sc and B.A belonging to Bhit Shah will face a difficult situation during annual examination starting from October 15, 2012 as the exams centre has been established in Hala instead of Bhit Shah.
In his clarification Tuesday he cited the rule of University, which says examination centers will be established in those affiliated colleges of University of Sindh who might have passed two years of its affiliation with SU successfully.
He termed the published news item in this regard as baseless & fabricated and said that the Bhit Shah college recently got the affiliation so the exams centre in it could not be setup within a year.
The controller added that exam centre in the college would be made next year as by the end of 2013, it would complete the required period of 2 years’ affiliation with Sindh University.
