Hyderabad: Unknown men hurled hand grenade on the residence of Pakistan People’s Party member Sindh Assembly Imdad Pitafi’ in Qasimabad area of Hyderabad on Tuesday.
No loss of life or property have been reported in the attack.Police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
In another such incident, unknown men planted a bomb near the residence of PPP leader Fasih Shah in Nawabshah district but it didn’t explode.
Houses of Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Sumro and Minister of Local government System Agha Siraj Durrani. An obscure terrorsit organization Sindu Desh Liberation Army claimed responsibilty for the attacks of the houses of Sumoro and Durrani.
However, nobody claimed responsibilty for the attack on Pitafi’s house.
Sindhi nationalists have been agitating since the passage of Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance.
They termed the ordinance as a conspiracy to divide the province.
