Lahore: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday threatened to raid Governor House if former OGRA chief Tauqir Sadiq was not handed over.
Talking to media representatives in Lahore, the law minister said that the police would be forced to enter the Governor House if Latif Khosa, Governor Punjab, would not cooperate in handing over a culprit.
“According to our information, Tauqir Sadiq is present in the Governor House,” Sanaullah claimed.
The Governor House has dismissed the remarks and termed the allegations as baseless.
It said that the Punjab government itself patronizes thieves and robbers and such remarks have only exposed the face of the provincial government.
